Ida Delories Hadaway Kelso, 69, a resident of Forest died Sunday, May 06, 2012 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held 10 am Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with burial in the Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Scott Fortenberry will officiate the services. Mrs. Kelso was born September 4, 1942 in Morton, MS to the late Carl and Mary Kathryn Buntyn Hadaway. Delories lived in Forest most of her life. She graduated from Forest High School in 1960 and attended Draughon's Business College in Jackson where she received her degree in Business. Delories was known to her friends and family as "Delo".
She is survived by her son Michael Kelso (& Missy) of Plano, TX; her sister, Carleen H. Cole of Ocean Springs; granddaughter, Amanda Kelso of Plano; two nieces, Jennifer C. Clark (& Brax) of Gulfport and Kathryn C. Brasher (& Kris) of Coffeeville and a great-niece and nephew, Caroline and Cook Clark.
Delories worked for Richard Partridge Properties for 35 years, driving to Jackson every day. She loved her job and the wonderful people that she worked with. She enjoyed needlework, reading and football. She will be missed by all her friends and family.
