Denise Hewitt

Denise Wall Hewitt, 80, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away January 18, 2019 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 1-1:45 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hewitt was born April 25, 1938 to Charles Hooker Wall and Gladys Munday Wall in Philadelphia, MS. She was married to Tony L. Hewitt, Sr. Mrs. Hewitt was a financial consultant for many years before retiring in 2010. She attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Hewitt was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Hooker Wall and Gladys Munday Wall; her brother, Larry Wall; mother and father-in-law, Frances and Rex Hewitt and her brother-in-law, Arthur Hewitt.

Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her husband, Tony Lynn Hewitt, Sr.; her children, Deborah Wright Mulligan, Judd Hooker Wright, Rebel Trent Wright, Tony Lynn Hewitt, Jr. and Patricia H. White; brother, Robert Meredith Wall; brothers-in-law, Calvin Hewitt and Charles Hewitt; sister, Wendy Lee; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; pet bird, Sonny; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
