Dennis Ryan

Dennis Harold Ryan, age 72, a resident of Wesson, MS passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Wesleyanna Cemetery in Florence, MS. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am-1:30 pm Saturday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Ryan was born August 20, 1949, in Vicksburg, MS to Harold Ryan and Katherine Marie Burton Ryan. He was married to Cathy Moore Ryan. Mr. Ryan worked in construction as a roofer for many years before retiring. He was a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church in Wesson, MS. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Ryan and Katherine Marie Burton Ryan, father-in-law, Lowery Moore and his sister-in-law, Melissa Moore.

Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathy Moore Ryan; his children, Trish Bradford (Lee), Beth Hutchinson (Kevin), Patrick Ryan (Kayla), Crystal Jabour (Michael), Kellie Russell (Keith), and John Ryan (Sydney); brother, Joey Ryan (Joann); 18 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Carolyn Moore; sister-in-law, Laura Polk (Alan); nephews, Greg Ryan (Ashley), and James Dabney Polk; niece, Brooke Swaney (Trey), and a host of friends.
