Dewayne Smith, born on August 15, 1963, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Flowood, Mississippi. He lived a vibrant life filled with love and the joy of work, especially as an automotive painter at Capital Body Shop now Crash Champions, where he created lasting bonds with his coworkers, manager Billy Lanthrip and former owner, Doug White.

Dewayne was known for his infectious personality; people were naturally drawn to him, much like a magnet. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, always eager to make new friends.
