Diane Dyer Miller, 66, a resident of Ocean Springs, MS died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Rev. Heath Hillman will officiate the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Ms. Miller was a native of Jackson, MS. She was the daughter of the late, William Homer Dyer and Edna Meltz Dyer. She was a graduate of Central High in Jackson, MS. Ms. Miller was Director of Policy Holder Services for Central Security Life Insurance Company formerly known as Andrew Jackson Life Insurance Company and has served in the insurance industry for 48 years. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, William Homer Dyer and Edna Meltz Dyer; brother, James David Dyer and Allan Miller.
Ms. Miller is survived by her sons, Marty (Kim) Miller and Shane P. Miller; Meg (Joe) Hammack, Deloris Dove and Bill (Gail) Dyer; three grandchildren, Clara Elizabeth Miller, Samuel Walker Miller and Arianna Isabell Miller; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
