Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 1pm to 1:45pm at Brandon Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2pm at the church, with burial following in the Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Diane was born in Brandon on October 12, 1947 to Russell and Sandy Ponder.
Diane is survived by a daughter Stephanie Jacques (Scott), Collierville, TN; son Brad Stewart (Alicia), Nashville, TN; three grandsons, Jackson Jacques, Paxton Jacques, and Braden Stewart; two sisters, Debbie Allen (Jock), Brandon, Kay Warmbrunn (Bob), Chantilly, VA; two brothers, Jimmy Ponder (Jena), Brandon, Rusty Ponder (Cindy), Brandon and a large, loving family of nephews and nieces. Diane was a valued employee of Delta Airlines for approximately 30 years before her retirement in 2000. At her death, she was an employee of the Rankin County District Attorney’s Office. She was also a member of Brandon Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Brandon Baptist Drive, Brandon, MS 39042 or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
