Dolres Gray

Dolres Eugene (Dot) Gray was received into the loving arms of her Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 15, 2017, at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Hwy 43 South of Pelahatchie, MS.
Mrs. Gray was born on June 30, 1930, to Clyde and Zora Huffman and was a lifelong resident of the Cross Roads community.
Mrs. Gray was an active member of Cross Roads Baptist Church for over 73 years where she served in many areas throughout the church. Mrs. Gray enjoyed working in her garden every year alongside her husband. She also had a great love for her iris and daylilies.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Durward E. Gray, her parents, Clyde and Zora Huffman, sister Rita Banes and brother Clyde Huffman, Jr. and 1 great grandson Judah Shivers.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her children, Kathy (Mike) Gentry of Flowood, Richard (Beverly) Gray of Brandon, Kenneth Wayne (Mary Jane) Gray of Hernando, Robin (Jackie) Shivers of Pelahatchie, Bridgette (Vinson) Gray of Pelahatchie and Travis (Angela) Gray of Eupora; 15 grandchildren, Steven Gentry, Ben Gray, Kimberly Ray, Richelle Jefcoat, Kenny Gray, Stephanie Sykes, Shannon, Justin and Jeremy Shivers, Kyle, Austin and Kaley Gray, Drew, Micah and Rachel Gray; and 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette Bates, Velma Knight, Cammie Falvey, Frankie Huff, Carol Traxler, Mattie Garrett, Tommie Huffman and brother, Jimmy Huffman.
Serving as pallbearers are Shannon Shivers, Steven Gentry, Justin Shivers, Kenny Gray, Jeremy Shivers, Kyle Gray, Austin Gray, Drew Gray and Christopher Sykes.
