Don Roberts Sr. Morton Don Roberts Sr., age 68, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. His visitation was held 5-8pm Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 10am Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens. Bro. Paul Smith officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mr. Roberts was born on May 24, 1948 in Scott County. His family reminisced about him being a sportsman, loving to fish and squirrel hunt. Don loved to work in his garden and watch the vegetables grow. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Elaine Roberts; father, Thurman Buster Roberts and daughter-in-law, Janet Roberts. He is survived by his son, Don Roberts Jr. of Morton; mother, Bonnie Roberts of Morton; brother, David Roberts (Jean) of Brandon; sisters-in-law, Charlene Champion (Robert) of Lena and Jean Fields (Lavon) of Braxton; brother-in-law, Bobby Kennedy (Molly) of Polkville; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Randall Bricker ,Robert Champion, Victor Boykin, Cory Thompson, Jacob Boykin and Randy Roberts. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Wooten and Dr. Howard D. Clark M.D.
