Donald Freshour, 64, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Bethany House in Madden. Services are 2 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with burial in Harperville Memorial Park. Rev. Don Wilson, Rev. Arlis Nichols and Rev. Bobby Roberson will officiate.
Don was a longtime resident of Scott and Leake County, currently a resident of Walnut Grove. He was a member of Harperville Baptist Church and was a school bus driver for Leake County Schools for several years.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Edison and Oma Tripplet and brother, Darrell Freshour.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Jenkins Freshour of Walnut Grove; daughters, Donna Culpepper (Ray) of Walnut Grove, Melanie Freshour of Walnut Grove, Lisa Freshour of Walnut Grove and Bryanna Freshour of Walnut Grove; sisters, Karen Cooper (Lee) of Omaha, NE and Linda Ford of Pushmataha, AL; brother, Kenneth Ray Freshour (Del) of Thompson, TX ; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jay Johnson, Ray Wilkerson, Chris Fisher, Dewayne Pope, Steve Adams and Don McDaniel. Sam Fortenberry will serve as honorary pallbearer.
