Donald Ray Mann, 75, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at his home in Richland. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4 until 7 pm and Tuesday, November 12, 2013 beginning at 1 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Tuesday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Donald Ray Mann was born on September 11, 1938 in Yazoo City, MS to the late Colvert Waters Mann and Fannie Melissa Grant Mann. He served in the U. S. Army. He retired as a truck driver with Yellow Freight. He formerly worked for Miller Transport. He was a former resident of Vicksburg and Pearl, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Thrasher (Patrick) of Brandon, MS and Donna Kaye Nipper of San Antonio, TX; three sisters, Jannie Austin of Vicksburg, MS, Martha Johnston (George) of Fulton, MS and Joyce Baughman (Dick) of Glenford, OH; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Service: 2pm Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home.
