Donald Storment

Donald Lee Storment, 84, passed away at his home on Mon. May 2, 2022. Visitation will be held on Fri. May 6, 2022 from 9:30am-10:15am at Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, MS. Funeral services are 10:30am on Fri. May 6, 2022 at Puckett Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Puckett Cemetery. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Storment was born on Dec. 26, 1937 in Jackson, MS to the late James Walker Storment and Della Margaret Strand Storment. He was a member of Puckett Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. Mr. Storment was a Lifetime Member of the Magnolia Rifle and Pistol Club in Byram, MS and served as the club secretary for 16 years. Mr. Storment loved to play the harmonica and was self-taught.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Storment; daughters, Karen Kennedy McConlogue (Rob) and Connie Lanell Gurchiek (Chris); sisters, Irene Hammack and Anita Ray; brothers, James Edgar Storment, Jim Storment, Clayton Storment and four grandchildren, Eric Patterson, Ian Patterson, Jessica Gurchiek and Michael Gurchiek. Mr. Storment is also preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Delores Patterson; sister, Marjorie Louise Fisher and a brother, Calvin Arthur Storment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Puckett Baptist Church at 6400 MS-18 Brandon, MS 39042.
