Mr. Donald "PaDuck" Lee Bowman Sr., age 86, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at his residence in Pelahatchie.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 1pm Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Myers Cemetery.  Bro. Rick Hammerstrom will officate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Bowman was born in Rankin County on December 31, 1931.  He enjoyed working with equipment of all kinds.  He could be seen driving his tractor working at the cemetery or just helping someone out that needed something done.  Mr. Bowman was a excellent steel worker.  He was known for his funny personality and picking on people.  Mr. Bowman will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Washington Bowman and Tommie Lou Lindsey Bowman; son, Donald Lee Bowman Jr., sister, Lessie Lee Harris; 2 brothers, J.W. Bowman and L.D. "Bud" Bowman.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Grace Bowman of Pelahatchie; children, Brenda Bowman Bynum and husband, Joe of Pelahatchie and Dwayne Bowman and wife Ann of Pelahatchie; 4 sisters, Lucille Meek of Madison, Sadie Mae Stewart of Pelahatchie, Ruby Nell Haar of Pelahatchie and Mary Louise McGee of Brandon; brother, Charlie Monroe Bowman of Pelahatchie; 6 grandchildren, Casey Bynum, Scottie Harmon, Kevin Bowman, Kristia Lightle, Austin Bowman and Anna Beth Bowman; 9 great grandchildren, Lawton, Benjamin, Brelyn, Grace, Aubrey, Mary-Travis, Kaleb, Gavin and Eli.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Bowman, Scottie Harmon, Austin Bowman, Joe Bynum, Tommy Callahan and Josh Steverson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Lightle, Lawton Burnham, Benjamin Burnham, Kaleb Evans, Eli Evans, Gavin Lightle and Jeff Myers.
