Donna Meeler

Donna Jeanne Ogle Meeler, 78, passed away Friday Feb. 7, 2014 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Feb. 9, 2014 from 1pm until the 2:30pm funeral service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial will follow the services at the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Meeler was born in Ft. Riley, KS and has lived in the Jackson area for 45 years. She was a teacher for many years with Hinds Junior College at the Jackson Branch where she retired in 1995 and she served as President of the HCC Educational Association from 1989-1990.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Wright Meeler; daughter, Linda Meeler; two sons, Wade Meeler and Donald Meeler (Ellen); three grandchildren, Brian Switzer Jr., Amanda Meeler and Alison Meeler; two brothers, William Ogle (Liz) and James Ogle; brother-in-law, Dan Jaffe (Lori) and several nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Meeler is preceded in death by her parents, William Elrod Ogle and Alta Emmons Ogle and her sister, Mozelle Jaffe.
