Donna N. Steele, 68, a resident of Whitfield, MS, passed away Sun. May 14, 2017 at Jaquith Nursing Home in Whitfield, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. May 20, 2017 from 9am-9:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10am on Sat. May 20, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Whitfield, MS.
Donna grew up at Whitfield because her dad was a doctor there. Donna had been a longtime resident of Jaquith Nursing Home at Whitfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. David E. Davidson and Gladys Tate Davidson and by her husband, James Jeffrey Steel.
Donna is survived by her sister, June Hollis (Wende) of Brandon, MS; brother, David Davidson (Ann) of Atlanta, GA; three children, Claire Peeples (Wayne) of Brandon, MS, Jeff Stuart (Ashley) of Newton, MS, Alex Tullos of Salt Lake City, UT and 8 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Whitfield at 3550 MS-468 Pearl, MS 39208 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Atten: Memorial Honor Program at P.O. Box 1000-Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
