Donna Warren

Donna McCoy Warren, 61, a resident of Morton died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Neal Cemetery in Pelahatchie. Visitation will be held 4-9 pm Monday and 12-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Bobo Phillipson will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.

 
Mrs. Warren was a native of Scott Co. She was the daughter of Donald E. and Mary Pauline Neal McCoy. She was married to Herman Dewitt Warren. Mrs. Warren was an office manager in the health care industry and worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield over 25 years. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Two Mile Baptist Church in Morton. Mrs. Warren loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

 
Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her parents, Donald E. and Mary Pauline Neal McCoy, husband, Herman Dewitt Warren and brother, Richard Neal McCoy.

 
Mrs. Warren is survived by her son, Chris Gray of Morton; sister, Retha M. (Daniel) Porter of Morton, brother, William E. (Marie) McCoy of Morton; 3 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

 
Serving as pallbearers were Lance Porter, Devin Porter, Tony King, Taylor Ivy, Chester McCoy and Lee Sellers.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Quince Porter, Cole Garland, Zachary Garland, Kevin Martin and Zachary Young.
