Graveside: 10 am Friday, September 12, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Forkville, MS.
Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Donnie Ray Turner, 79, a resident of Jackson, MS died Tuesday, September 09, 2014 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Graveside services will be held 10 am Friday, September 12, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Forkville, MS. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. Glen Hoskins will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements.
Miss Turner was the daughter of Herbert and Zula Mae Craig Turner. She was a long time resident of Jackson, MS and formerly of Morton. She worked and retired as secretary at the Veterans Administration in Jackson. She was a member of the Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed playing the piano and served in different churches helping with the music. Miss Turner loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Miss Turner was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Zula Mae Craig Turner.
Miss Turner is survived by her sister, Laura (Henry) O’Cain of Carthage, MS and a host of friends.
