Doris Aultman

Doris Powell Aultman, 91, passed away Sun. March 18, 2018 at Merit Health Rankin Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. March 20, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Wed. March 21, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Aultman was born on March 16, 1927 in Covington County, MS. She was a former resident of Hattiesburg, MS until she moved to Jackson, MS in 1961. In 1995 she moved to Brandon, MS where she was currently a resident. Mrs. Aultman was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS and she graduated from Lonestar High School in Covington County, MS. Mrs. Aultman retired as a Data Processing Supervisor with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. She also worked for the McIntosh Company and the Lester and Witcher Abstract Company. Mrs. Aultman enjoyed traveling, working in her yard, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay “Kitty” Eduardo (Marcelo) and two grandchildren, Justin Stewart Eduardo and Jordan Alexis Eduardo. Mrs. Aultman is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Aultman Jr.; parents, John Stewart Powell and Allie McRaney Powell; brother, Homer Hayes and her aunt, Louise Napier whom she loved like a sister.
