Doris Bell

Doris Elizabeth Bell, 84, passed away Thurs. March 14, 2019 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. March 17, 2019 from 2pm-5pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Mon. March 18, 2019 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30pm on Mon. March 18, 2019 at the Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsboro, MS.

Mrs. Bell was born in Harperville, MS, was a longtime resident of West Jackson, MS and has been a resident of Brandon, MS for the past 17 years. She attended church at Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her son, C.D. “Boo” Bell (Lydia); three granddaughters, Jennifer Daniel (Jon), Andrea Ditto (Brandon) and Amye Bell (fiancé Dan Halinski); a grandson, Corey Bell (Mindy); a sister, Virginia Copeland and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, X.L. Bell; daughter, Pamela Kay Bell; son, Raiford “Buster” Bell; mother, Lovie Edell Thrash Haralson and her father, Oscar Bailey Haralson.
