Doris Boggan

Doris Jackson Boggan of Brandon, MS, peacefully passed on March 16, 2021 in her home. Doris was born Oct. 13, 1928 in Neshoba County. She was 92. Doris worked at Deposit Guaranty National Bank for many years. She loved her family and had a love for flowers especially her roses. Doris enjoyed being outdoor. She enjoyed needle point work, sewing, cooking and being with family. Doris was a member of Brandon Baptist Chruch.

She was a loving mother and leaves behind her sons, Richard Boggan (Barbara) and Elgin Boggan (Julie) both of Brandon; granddaughter, Brittany Boggan and grandson, Zack Boggan. She has a sister, Mary Nance (Dale) of Philadelphia; brothers, O.D. Jackson and Windell Jackson (Joann) both from Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, William "Will" Jackson and Mary "Mae" Elizabeth Fulton Jackson; her husband, Clifford Boggan; sister, Marie Smith; brothers, James Clark Jackson, C.O. "O'Neil" Jackson, Lawson Jackson, Jeffie Jackson, Fulton Jackson all of Philadelphia, Garland Jackson of IL and Howard Jackson of AL. Doris will be sadly missed!

Visitation will be held on Sat. March 20, 2021 from 2:30pm-3:15pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 3:30pm on Sat. March 20, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Brandon Memorial Gardens. Dr. Clarence Cooper will officiate the services. Pallbearers are Steve Nance, Joey Jackson, Greg Jackson, Willie Jackson, Andy Lofton and Bobby Jackson.
