Doris J. Coward

Mrs. Doris J. Coward, age 71 passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at her home in Coward town surround by her family. Doris was born on August 27, 1953, to Ernest and Ruby Allen Renfroe in Morton, MS. She was a Christian by faith and a member of Branch Baptist Church. Doris loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her husband Charles.

Mrs. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest, and Ruby Renfroe, two brothers, Jerry Renfroe and Ray Renfroe. She is survived by her husband, Charles Coward, two sons, Ben Coward (Kayla), Clarence Coward (Megan Moss); three sisters, Tine Errington, Patricia Gray, and Ruby Jones : five grandchildren, Austin Coward, Tyler Coward, Taylor Coward, Dakota Coward, and Reagan Coward.

Visitation for Mrs. Doris will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00am Thursday in our chapel. Bro. Michael Giles, Bro. Geary Walton, and Miles Porter officiating. Burial will be at Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
