Dorothy M. Coley

Mrs. Dorothy M. Coley, age 70, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Home. Visitation was 12:00pm to 1:50pm Friday, January 12, 2024 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS; the Funeral Service was at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Burial took place at Morton Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Dorothy spent her time listening to the bible and enjoyed music. She was a wonderful mother, who doted on her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Coley, and her parents, Dennis Alexander and Dorothy McCraw.

She leaves behind 3 children: Tracey Gilmer (Spear), Renee Fortenberry (Frankie), and Jerry Coley (Kim); three sisters: Kathy Coley, Dianne Hardy, and Dennis Alexander (Linda); one brother, Dennis Alexander (Linda); nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were: Noah Traxler, Spear Gilmer Jr. III, Gauge Fortenberry, Dylan Sumrall, Austin Fortenberry, and Malik Smith. Honorary Pallbearer was Nicholas Griffin.

Services were entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
