Dorothy "Dot" Gilmer

 Dorothy “Dot” Gilmer, 88, of Harperville, Mississippi, passed away on January 26, 2025.

 Dot was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi but spent most of her life in the Harperville Community of Scott County. She was a long-time member of Harperville Baptist Church. 

 Memorial services will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, Mississippi on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with Visitation at 10:00 AM and Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. 

 Dot is survived by her husband, Charles Gilmer, daughters, Regina(Steve), June(Deril), Lisa(Greg), and step children Chris(David), Holly(Webb). Dot is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 

 She is preceded in death by her parents Arden and Vercia Gilbert, one sister, Doris Hill (Kemp), and her only son Jerry Thrash.
