Dorothy Faye Kirby, 93, passed away on Wed. Aug. 18, 2021 at The Blake in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Aug. 22, 2021 from 5pm-7pm and on Mon. Aug. 23, 2021 from 9:30am-10am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10am on Mon. Aug. 23, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Kirby was born on July 25, 1928 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Lester Spears and Hattie Mae Warren Spears. Mrs. Kirby loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Mike Kirby (Pam) and Marcus Kirby; 4 grandchildren, Mary Allyn Kirby, Aidan Kirby, Brian Kirby (Kelly) and Brittany Cariker (Heath); 5 great grandchildren, Olivia Kirby, Caroline Kirby, Mary Dalton Kirby, Emerson Cariker and Lane Kirby Cariker; sister, Rachel Walton (B.V.); 2 brothers, Rudolph Spears (Faye), Billy Spears (Patsy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kirby is also preceded in death by her husband, James Elton Kirby; 2 sisters, Shirley Whitehead and Gaytha Wooten and 2 brothers, Paul Spears and Willard Spears.
