Dorothy Matranga

Dorothy Ann Matranga, 86, passed away in Brandon, MS on Tues. Jan. 10, 2023. Visitation will be held on Sun. Jan. 15, 2023 from 1:30pm-3pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Matranga was born on July 16, 1936 in Winona, MS to the late William Calvin Greenlee and Estelle Patterson Greenlee. She retired after 19 years of service with the Mississippi State Tax Commission. Mrs. Matranga loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Matranga is preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Al" E. Matranga. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Davis (Terry), Martie Everett (Johnny) and Audrey Shelby (Frank); 7 grandchildren, Josh Davis (Peggy), Nick Davis (Sally), Matt Davis (Kaylee), Steven Everett (Kinsey), Lindsay Strickland (Cole), Mason Shelby (Hannah), and April Crowell (Jon Richard); 17 great grandchildren, Maddie Gray Davis, Mac Davis, Henry Davis, Charlie Davis, Polly Davis, Adaline Davis, Maddox Davis, Max Everett, Maris Everett, Miles Everett, Everett Strickland, Annie Strickland, Corbin Strickland, Field Shelby, Wilder Shelby, Ridge Shelby, Causey Crowell and her loving companion dog, Gracie Ann.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League at 5221 Greenway Drive Ext Jackson, MS 39204 or to the charity of your choice.
