Dot was a homemaker first and then a substitute teacher in the Brandon Public School system for over 20 years where she made lifelong friends with administrative and teaching staff. She then served as a Welcome Wagon representative for several years, welcoming newcomers to the Brandon area and introducing them to participating merchants.
Dot was an avid bridge player and held membership in several bridge clubs. She also taught a children’s Sunday School class for several years at Brandon Presbyterian Church where she was a member for more than 45 years. Her Church, her family and her circle of friends were the center of her life.

We also want to praise the work of Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS for their professionalism and their loving tender care to Dot and to the family.
