Dorothy "Dottie" Horn Tillman, 65, a resident of Forest, MS, passed away June 4th, 2016, at Lackey Memorial Hospital.
Dottie was a lifelong resident of Forest where she attended and graduated from Forest High School. She was also a graduate of East Central Junior College where she received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.
After college, she returned to Forest where she worked for McCarty Farms/Tyson Foods for over 20 years, The Scott County Times and most recently for Community Bank as a teller until her recent retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, shoe shopping and spending time with her beloved family.
Dottie was preceded in death by her father, Austin Horn, her brother, Ricky Horn and her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Tillman.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald Wayne Tillman, II (Alex), Jason Tillman (Joni), and Joshua Tillman (Katy) all of Forest, MS as well as her mother, Jean Horn of Newton, MS. Dottie leaves behind a legacy of 8 grandchildren; Nikki Tillman, Austin Tillman, Reese Tillman, Seth Tillman, Caden Tillman, Riley Tillman, Samuel Tillman and Cali Tillman. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends. She will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with her infectious personality and smile.
