Dorothy “Dottie” Taylor Torinese, age 71, a resident of Forest, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 11, 2016, following an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 am followed by the memorial service at 11:30 am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Jeff Taylor will officiate.
Mrs. Torinese was born in Osceola, AR, to her parents Robert Taylor and Hattie Thomas Taylor on June 8, 1944. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with family, especially her granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Milton “Cotton” Taylor, Charles “David” Taylor, and Robert “Red” Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, George Torinese of Forest; daughter; Misty T. Feemster (Michael); granddaughter, Evin Feemster all of Flowood; sisters, Mildred Kelley, Nel Potvoricky, and Kathy Bagley; and brother, Carlon “Bud” Taylor all of Forest.
The family also wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Caregivers who provided compassionate care for Mrs. Torinese during the previous months.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in memory of Dottie Torinese.
