They moved to Mississippi, and he lived in Brandon until he graduated from Brandon High School. He attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Pearl, Mississippi for many years, where he made many life-long friends. He loved Jesus and he loved to be involved in the church.

He attended Mississippi State University, where he was a cheerleader. His major was marketing, and he graduated in 1992. While at Mississippi State, he joined the Air National Guard, and he loved flying. He later moved to California and worked with Actors Co-Op.
