Douglas Harper

Douglas Alan Harper, age 61, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Harper was born October 20, 1959 in Jackson, MS to Emerson Bernard Harper and Linadell Ellis Harper. He was married to Cindy Ezell Harper. Mr. Harper was in sales for Motion Industries for 40 years. He loved his 61 Corvette and restoring cars to their former glory. He enjoyed watching Nascar, fishing, hunting and especially cooking for his family. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson Bernard Harper and Linadell Ellis Harper.

Mr. Harper is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cindy Ezell Harper; daughter, Nicole (Chris) Johnson; grandchildren, Foster and Harper Johnson; sister, Marie Harper; his beloved pets, Izzy and Chico and a host of other family and friends.
