Douglas Wentz

March 14, 1943 — January 29, 2018

Douglas C. Wentz, 74, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held after the services at the Wentz home in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Wentz was a native of Buckhannon, WV. He was the son of Troy B. Wentz and Marjorie Hyre Wentz. He was married to Ann Hall Wentz. Mr. Wentz was a member of Riverside Independent Methodist Church in Flowood, MS. He was in the Printing Supply Industry for many years working for A.B. Dick before retiring.

He enjoyed spending time with his coffee club in the mornings always looking forward to being with friends. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Wentz was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Troy Wentz, Jr. of Buckhannon, WV, Melvin Wentz of Weston, WV, Charles Winemiller of Sandwich, IL and Burton Winemiller of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Mr. Wentz is survived by his wife of 17 years, Ann Wentz of Brandon, MS; son, Brandon (Leslie) Wentz of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Cody and Caleb Wentz of Brandon, MS; mother in law, Faye Hall of McComb, MS; sisters in law, Teddy Wentz of Buckhannon, WV, Marjean Wentz of Weston, WV and Nora Hall of McComb, MS; brother in law, Harold (Sandra) Hall of McComb, MS; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
