Dr. Liles Williams age 84, passed away at the MS Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday September 19, 2016 from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday September 20, 2016 with Rev. Paul Smith presiding. Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at the Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Dr. Liles Williams was born in Morton, MS to his parents Liles N. Williams Sr. and Genevie "Jack" Bishop Williams on January 2, 1932. Mr. Liles was a member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church of Flowood, MS. Dr. Williams was the past president of the National Association of Orthodontics, and a member of the Lion's Club, the Morton Booster Club and he was an avid fan of the Morton Panther's Football Team. He loved his Mississippi State Bulldogs and was a member of the Bulldog club; he loved wearing his Mississippi State University cap all the time. Liles loved his family, his friends, his work, and he loved helping others; and he loved his dogs Prince and Snow. He also loved playing golf and painting oil paintings portraits and playing the saxophone. His favorites were of him and others standing in front of Pat O'Brien's playing the saxophone. He loved painting his grandsons and the old original lodge at the Roosevelt State Park.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents , Liles N. Williams, Sr. and Genevie Bishop Williams; his son, James "Bobo" Williams; his first wife, Ann Baker Williams.
Dr. Liles Williams is survived by his wife, Eunice Clark Williams; his daughter, Natalie Hannah; god-daughter, Dr. Jamie Ross, DDS; and his father-in-law, Dr. Howard Clark.
Serving as pallbearers were Beau Hannah, Brandon Hannah, Trey Clark, Brad Westberry, Glynn Hannah, David Clark. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Dennis Damiens, Bill Van Zandt, Jimmy Ott Jr., John Adair, Jere Jefcoat.
Services are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee of Morton, MS.
