Dwayne Turner, age 57 passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his home.  Visitation will be held 5pm-7pm Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Following the chapel service burial will be in Eastern Cemetery in Forest.  Officiating the services will be Bro. Richard Gregory.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Dwayne was born in Forest, MS on February 21, 1964.  He enjoyed being outside playing softball, fishing and golfing.  Dwayne loved being around his friends talking and laughing, but his grandbabies was the apple of his eye.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Turner and Ruth Pearl Henderson Cook; brother, Harvey McKinley, Jr.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Turner Laster (Nicholas) of Morton, Zachary Turner (Amneris) of Morton and Heather Turner of Brandon; grandchildren, Alana Laster, Nicholas Laster, Nylah Laster, Nadylie Laster, Kayleigh Turner, Zachary Turner, JR Washington and Lincoln Turner; a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eddie McDill, Stanley McDill, Bubba Gregory, Hayden Gregory, Charles Laster and Tom Champion.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Lockert, Emilio Warnsley, Ryu Warnsley, Denzel Warnsley and Miles Porter.
