Walter Earl Eubanks, 75, passed away Wed. Jan. 31, 2018 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Feb. 2, 2018 from 11am-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Fri. Feb. 2, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Eubanks was born in Meridian, MS and was a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. Mr. Eubanks loved the Lord. He was a member of Freetrade Church of God, and was a former member of First Baptist Church in Richland, MS where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Eubanks was a Sales Manager in the Truck Sales Department for Empire Truck Sales where he had many loyal friends and customers. Mr. Eubanks was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed riding his tractor and working on his farm. Mr. Eubanks also enjoyed playing cards and going to deer camp, but most of all he loved his family, especially the time he got to spend with his grandchildren whom he called “His Treasures”.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Eubanks; three children, Anita Wray (Gary), Margie Hamilton and Mark Eubanks (Jessica); four brothers, Tommy Eubanks (Mary Louise), Wayne Eubanks (Dawn); Lee Eubanks (Donna) and Mike Crawford (Kim); 8 grandchildren, Melissa Kirk, Rustin Ponder, Spencer Wray, London Hamilton, Courtney Hamilton, Zac Hamilton, Brady Eubanks and Abram Eubanks; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, Miss. Chapter at 3000 Old Canton Rd. Jackson, MS 39236.
