Earl Watson

Earl Edward Watson, 87, born Sept. 18, 1930 in Danville, IN, went to be with his Lord on Sun. Dec. 31, 2017 in Brandon, MS.  Visitation will be held on Wed. Jan. 3, 2018 from 10am-10:45am at Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will be at 11am on Wed. Jan. 3, 2018 at Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Burial will be in the North MS Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS on Thurs. Jan. 4, 2017. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling funeral arrangements.

Mr. Watson served in the Korean War and retired from IBM Corporation in 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Hurdle Watson and Mary Redd Watson. He was also preceded by an infant grandson.

Mr. Watson will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Ann Cooper Watson formerly of Plainfield, IN; three sons, Stephen Edward Watson (Eileen) of Texas, Michael Guy Watson (Martha) of Michigan and Bruce Alden Watson (Donna) of Texas; brother, Marvin Watson (Anna); sister, Linda Owen (Randy); 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mr. Watson will also be missed by all of his nieces, nephews and many friends.
