Earline Elizabeth Stringfellow, 73, a resident of Morton died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson surrounded by her family. Visitation was held 5-9 pm Monday, July 25, 2011 and 8:30 am-1:30 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the funeral home with burial in the Parkway Baptist Church Cemetery in Morton. Rev. Claude Shufelt and Rev. Earl Clark officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stringfellow was a native of Leake Co. She was the daughter of Sam Lewis and Nellie Franklin Page. She was married to Euel Weldon Stringfellow. Mrs. Stringfellow was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She loved to work in her flower garden and quilt. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Stringfellow was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Lewis and Nellie Franklin Page, brothers, Junior Page, Sonny Page, James Page and Bill Page, sisters, Beatrice Coleman and Myrtle Burns.
Mrs. Stringfellow is survived by her husband, Euel Weldon Stringfellow of Morton; daughters, Carolyn (J.R.) Crapps of Morton, Mary (William) Purvis of Hillsboro and JoAnn (Skip) Sprayberry of Carthage; sisters, Geneva Page Waltman of Ocean Springs and Carolyn “Girlie” (Robert) Belton of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Tonya Rushing, Tina Hutchinson, Belinda Hutchinson, Chase Wilkerson and Kristen Sprayberry; great grandchildren, Tyler Goolsby, Dustin Goolsby, Ryan Rushing, Ryleigh Elizabeth Rushing, Haley Brooks and Hannah Brooks; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Allen Ray Crapps, Bill Porter, Dustin Johnson, Bill Steadman, Bro. Earl Clark and Wesley Mattix Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Mr. James Davis.
