Ed May, 82, passed away Thurs. Sept. 4, 2014 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Sept. 7, 2014 from 2pm-5pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am. Mon. Sept. 8, 2014 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park South Cemetery.
Mr. May was born in Hazlehurst, MS, was a longtime resident of South Jackson and has lived in Brandon, MS for the past 22 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.
Mr. May is survived by his wife, Betty May; two sons, Don and Tim May; two grandchildren, Robin Wall (Patrick) and Kirby Henderson (David); four great grandchildren, James Mayson Wall, Carleigh Michael Henderson, Brileigh Nicole Henderson and Anna McKenzie Henderson and two sisters, Alene Sullivan and Billy White. Mr. May is preceded in death by a son, Ricky May and a daughter-in-law, Cindy May.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mississippi Fire Fighters Association at P.O. Box 1507 Brandon, MS 39043-1507.
