Edith Irene Harper, 85, passed away at home on Friday, July 23, 2010. A funeral service will be held 6pm Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A graveside service will be held 3 pm Monday in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway Ark.
Mrs. Harper was born in Conway, Ark. on February 2, 1925 to Ivan Jones and Lena Violet Brittany Jones, whom preceded her in death. She loved to read, garden and cook. She was an artist who loved to draw and paint. She also enjoyed sewing. Edith also loved to go Skunk hunting back in Arkansas.
Her husband, Stanley P. Harper and three sons, William Harper, Ivan Roy Harper and an infant twin preceded her in death.
A son, Michael “Mike” Harper; a brother, Floyd Jones; a daughter-in-law, Ollie Mae Harper and 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren survive her.
