Frances was born on White River in Clarendon, AR on September 17, 1941 to Bill and Maybell Mayville. At the age of 16, she married VO Johnson and together they had two sons. Frances leaves behind her sons, Bill (Kelly) Johnson and Gary (Leslie) Johnson; five grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Jennifer Rushing, Amanda Easley, Jacob Johnson and Sara Johnson; four great grandchildren, Gabriel Johnson, Brooklynn, Baylor and Briggs Rushing; her brother, Buddy Mayville; and sisters, Ann Kirchoff, Dorothy Norwood, Mary Dickson, Linda Hamner, Glenda (Faye) Bogy and Penny Green; and her brother-in-law, Gaylon Johnson.
Frances longed for the day to be reunited with her husband, VO, her mother and daddy and many other loved ones. For the last 23 years she has worked side by side with her son in the automotive industry.Visitation is 5-8pm Friday, March 16 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11:00am Saturday in the Chapel of the funeral home, with interment to follow in Parkway Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Reverend David Jett and Reverend Claude Shufelt officiating.
