Elizabeth Mae Butler Randolph, age 93, a resident of Forest, MS died Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest.
A visitation was held from 2pm-3pm Sunday November 25, 2012 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with a chapel service immediately following.
Mrs. Randolph was born and reared in New Albany, MS and moved to Forest in 1996. She was member of the First Baptist Church of New Albany, but faithfully attended the Forest United Methodist Church until her health failed.
She began her teaching career in Bruce, MS where she met and married her husband, Jack Randolph. She was an avid and talented seamstress, enjoyed cooking. Her specialty was sugar cookies. Mrs. Randolph was known and loved by the name of “MommaE”.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jack of 54 years, 3 brothers; Eddice, Wallace and Morris Butler; 2 sisters, Ruth Butler Stevenson, and Jewel Butler Daniel.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Suzanne Still (Jimmy) of New Albany, Jacqui Patten (Ed) of Hazelhurst, MS., Mitzi Breland (Allen) of Forest; a sister: Willie King Bending of Denton, TX., and a legacy of 8 grandchildren; Becky Still Mallette, Heather Still Crain, Claudia Still Shedd, Erin Patten Lane, Katherine Patten Carpenter, Elizabeth Patten Hitchcock, Jackson Randolph Breland and Marianna McInnis Breland, and 11 great grandchildren.
Interment at New Albany Cemetery on Monday November 26, 2012.
