Edna Earl Hill, 74, a resident of Leesburg died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services were held 11 am Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Leesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 5-8 pm Friday, January 24, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. Jack Stewart and Rev. R.C. Stewart officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Rankin Co. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Lorna Shoemaker. She was married to the late T.W. Hill. She was a member of the Leesburg Church of Christ. Mrs. Hill worked for Utico in Canton, MS. She enjoyed working in her garden and playing the piano. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lorna Shoemaker, husband, T.W. Hill, her brother, J.T. Shoemaker and her niece, Susie Shoemaker.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her stepson, Mike Hill and his wife Tommie; sister-in-law, Betty Hill and step grandson, Bryan Hill.
Serving as pallbearers were Buddy Shoemaker, Ray Shoemaker, Richie Franklin, Mitchell Craig, Jimmy Wilcher and Jerry Shoemaker.
