Edna O'Bryant

Edna Gay O’Bryant, age 65, a resident of Jackson, MS passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at The Woodlands in Clinton, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.

Mrs. O’Bryant was born February 12, 1956 in Jackson, MS to Charles Rodgers and Edna Merle Beasley Tucker. She worked as a cashier many years before becoming disabled. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. O’Bryant was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Rodgers and Enda Merle Beasley Tucker and her daughter, Marsha Brunson.

Mrs. O’Bryant is survived by her children, Harold O’Bryant and Sonya Lee; her companion of 23 years, James Carey; sister, Thelma White; brother, Ronnie Rodgers; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
