Edna Winstead

Edna Buntyn Winstead, 90, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at
Lackey Convalescent Home in Forest.


Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 3. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at Ott & Lee Funeral home in Forest.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4
at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Burns United Methodist Church
Cemetery near Raleigh.


Mrs. Winstead was a native of Decatur, MS. She taught business education in high schools
in Mississippi for 37 years, 29 of those years at Raleigh. She was a member of the Burns
United Methodist Church and the Burns Homemaker Volunteer Club.


She was predeceased by her husband of 47 Years, Caley Arward Winstead. She is survived
by a brother, Tom Buntyn, of Brandon, and a number of nieces and nephews.


The family would like to especially thank all the staff at Lackey Convalescent Home for
their excellent care of “Miss Edna”.
