Edna Earl Boggan

Edna Earl Boggan, 89, a resident of Brandon went to be home with her Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be held 1:30 PM until 2:30 pm Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Dr. Phil Walker will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.

Mrs. Boggan was a native of Simpson County. She was the daughter of Ed Jones and Verdue Harrington Jones. She was married to W. Lee Boggan. Mrs. Boggan worked as a Secretary for the state of Mississippi. She was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison, MS where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She was a member of the Eastern Star and served as the Worthy Grand Matron. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Boggan was preceded in death by her husband, W. Lee Boggan; her parents, Ed Jones and Verdue Harrington Jones and sister, Rachel Allen.

Mrs. Boggan is survived by her sisters, Jessie (Ed) Williamson and Simmie Barnes; brother-in-law, Theron Boggan; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison, MS.
