Rev. Edward A. “Preacher” Truby, 56, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and is now in the arms of Jesus. Visitation will be 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, November 30 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, and starting at 12 Noon on Wednesday until the 2 pm service in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in The New Brandon Cemetery. Edward was born in Litchfield, Connecticut on November 2, 1954 to Warren and Dolores B. Truby. He was a member of Vineyard Church in Flowood and of the Christian Motorcycle Association. His mother, three brothers and one sister precede him in death. He is survived by his wife, Melanie S. Truby; father, Warren (Yvette) Truby of Connecticut; children, Jason Truby of Litchfield, CT, Chris Tauscher of Terry ,MS, Michael Tauscher of Brandon, Derrick (Sara) Darby of Guntown, MS, Tera Darby and Cody Darby both of Brandon.
