Edward "Eddie" Davis

Mr. Eddie Davis, age 60, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home.  Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11am at Faith Baptist Cemetery, 1056 Rabbit College Rd., Lena, MS 39094.  Bro. Scott Adcox will officate the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Eddie was born in Greenville, MS on December 11, 1961.  Mr. Davis was a true outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt, fish and just loved being outside in the beautiful nature.   Helping people was something he enjoyed doing.  His heart was as big as big could be.  His friends said, "he is the true meaning of what loving and helping people are.  He would do things for people and never want anything in return."   Eddie loved to cook and his friends said, " he cooked the best fried chicken you ever ate."  He loved his dog, Bill.  When they went through a drive through to order food he always ordered  two of what ever he got because one order was for his dog, Bill.  His jokes and laughter will definitely be missed.  His friends said, " true friends like him are hard to find."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted Davis and Irene Carr; step father, Henry Carr.

He is survived by a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Scott Adcox, Charlie Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, Audie Stewart, Chris Griffin and Alex Harrison.
