Elizabeth Wilkerson

Mrs. Elizabeth McNeal Wilkerson, age 74, a resident of Jackson, Ms formerly of Forest passed away Saturday November 13, 2010 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30am Monday November 15, 2010 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery near Walnut Grove. Visitation was be held from 5pm to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilkerson was a native of Scott County, graduated from Ringgold High School and Droughns
Business College. She worked for the law firm of Butler, Snow, Omara, Stevens and Cannada for over 38 years before her retirement in 2000.
She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison.
Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her parents Samson McNeal, Sr and Sylvester Summers McNeal and six brothers and one sister.
Her survivors include her husband Paul Wilkerson, Sr.,two children, Paul Wilkerson. Jr. and wife Michelle of Clinton, Ms and daughter Xavia Wilkerson of Jackson, Ms. She is also survived by one brother David M. McNeal of Jacksonville, Fl.
Pallbearers were Horace McNeal, Roy Trigg, Robert M. Frey, James Sims, Steve Ware and Bill Beard.
Elder George Gardner and Rev. Mona Lisa Garrett officiated the services.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of the arrangements.
