Virginia Ellen Stennett
Pearl, MS
Or Lady Ellen of England to many, was one in 7 billion - truly one of a kind. She was always smiling when she wasn’t being a sassy little thing because you can be certain that if she had something to say, she was going to say it. Her strength held her family together and her love radiated in a way that can’t be explained, only felt. She loved with her whole heart and never gave up on anyone or anything. She would be sure to speak to you if she saw you on one of her 8 hour trips to Wal-Mart. Memaw Ellen, you were loved by so many and we will miss you until we see you again. We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
Ellen was 74 years old, she lived most of her life in Jackson, MS and was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Kristin May, Chandler M. May, Harleigh Little and Alexis Little; great grandchildren, Brayden May, Gabriel “Gabbie” Allen, Gentry Savell and Kyrie May; sister, Patsy Beard; and nieces, Denise Mason and Angie Moore.
