Elma Lea Haynes Pearl, MS Elma Lea Haynes, 93, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from her home in Pearl, MS. Visitation was Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5 until 8 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and again on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 11 am until the 12 Noon Service in the Chapel of Ott & Lee. Dr. Keith Grubbs and Rev. Danny Blaylock officiated and Christopher Haynes, Windle Haynes, Cliff McManus, Roger McManus, Thomas Hammons and Tommy Manning served as pallbearers. Elma Lea Haynes was born on April 30, 1921 in Langford, MS to the late Thomas Raymond and Lorena Steverson Grissom, Sr. She was a longtime Rankin County resident and was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl. She was a homemaker and she loved flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Haynes; her son, Hardy Haynes; her sisters, Palma Rae Hammons, Nila Rene Hutson and Patricia Dukes; and her brothers, Thomas Grissom and Gene Grissom. Survivors include her son, Fred Haynes of Pearl, MS; three grandchildren, Christopher Haynes (Stephanie) of Pearl, MS, Windle Haynes (Lynn Goins) of Sebastopol, MS and William Haynes of Leesburg, FL; two great grandchildren, Destiny Milner of Robinhood, MS and Shannon Haynes of Braxton, MS; two sisters, Rebecca McManus (Vernon) of Crowville, LA and Nelda Dye of Brandon, MS; and one brother, Bill Grissom (Ann) of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
