Elma Knowles Lewis, age 95, passed away on March 6, 2013 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, MS. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church of Pearl and a native of Hillsboro, MS. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Lewis; three children, Imogene Lewis Holmes, Murphy Lewis and Herschel Lewis; two brothers, two sisters; and three grand-daughters

She is survived by a son-in-law, Leroy Holmes, of Pearl, and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Lewis, of Harperville; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Steve Holmes, Donny Horton, Chuck Hunt, Colby Horton, Andrew Horton, and Jared Atkinson.
Visitation will be held from 5pm. to 7pm. on Thurs. March 7, 2013 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 10am. Fri. March 8, 2013 at the Harperville Cemetery in Scott County.
