Elouise Tucker Chisolm, 83, a resident of Leesburg, MS died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brandon. Funeral services were held 2 pm Friday, June 13, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with interment in the Leesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation were held 6-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Billy Ray Parker and Rev. Jeff Jones officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Chisolm was a native of Scott Co. She was the daughter of Floyd and Lessie Rushing Tucker. She was married to Phillip Chisolm. Mrs. Chisolm worked as a seamstress for Banner Bedding. She was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and sewing. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Chisolm was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lessie Rushing Tucker, husband, Phillip Chisolm, daughter, Jeanette Cashion, brothers, Cartis Tucker, Mack Tucker and Floyd Tucker, Jr., and sister, Hazel Golden.
Mrs. Chisolm is survived by her children, Joseph Chisolm (Pam) of Elysian Fields, TX, Dianne Chisolm of Brandon and Debbie Perkins (Steve) of Morton; sister, Winnie Richardson (Gerald) of Richland, MS; 7 grandchildren, Melissa Haynes (Austin), Natalie Chisolm, Michelle Satterwhite (Tom), Elizabeth Barnett, Marlaina Edwards (Justin), Phillip Perkins and Josh Cashion ; 12 great grandchildren Reid Haynes, Mackinzie, Ayden, Madalyn and Kelsie Davis, Phillip and Alexus Barnett, Addyson and Wyatt Edwards, Victoria, Abigail, Elijah Cashion; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Phillip Perkins, Phillip Barnett, Justin Edwards, Josh Cashion, Tom Satterwhite, and Austin Haynes.
